By registering for our online services via the link at the top of this page you will be able to order your repeat prescriptions online, this is the most efficient way of requesting your repeat prescriptions but we will also accept the computer printout attached to your prescription. To obtain a repeat, just put a tick beside the items required and either post the list or leave it in the box in the surgery entrance, ensuring that your name and address are correct.
In our effort to make the repeat prescription service more efficient and environmentally friendly we use the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). This is where you nominate a chemist and your repeat prescription is sent electronically to that chemist. It means you don't need to come in to the practice to collect your prescription once ordered and approved it will be sent straight to the chemist.
As of the 30th September we will only be using the EPS unless you have a good reason not to use it.
Repeat prescriptions are not accepted over the telephone due to the inherent risk of errors in this process.
Please allow two working days when collecting your repeat prescription. Prescriptions ordered on a Friday morning will be ready for collection after 13:00 on the following Tuesday.
The NHS spend millions of pounds a year on wasted medications please ensure you only order what you need.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
